Certification Training Workshop (This is the third of a four session bootcamp)The PACE Procurement Services Center offers certification training for small business owners who seek to secure supplier contract awards with the government and private sector entities. The main purpose of this certification training program is to promote contract opportunities for disadvantaged, minority, women, veteran and small, local business owners.Some of the certification categories include: SAM Registration, 8(a), HubZone, Small Business Enterprise (SBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE), Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), Women Business Enterprises (WBE), Disabled Veteran and Small Local Business Enterprises (SLBE).Small business workshop attendees will be educated about the various certification agencies and what contract opportunities are available under each type of certification. Including, Federal, State, Utilities and Private Sector supplier contract opportunities.Please arrive early due to parking and/or building location nuances. Class will start on time. We Do Not Validate Parking. We recommend public transportation, via local downtown Dash buses, or the 7th & Figueroa St. Metro Hub (only a 5-10 minute walk), or ride-share, lyft/uber, etc. Otherwise, the most convenient and affordable parking is located at 1127 Wilshire Blvd., Good Samaritan Hospital (maybe $12/day).Look forward to seeing you at this event!
