World Trade Center Los Angeles

The World Trade Center Los Angeles (WTCLA) is a not-for-profit public benefit organization dedicated to supporting foreign direct investment in the Los Angeles region and facilitating business opportunities between Los Angeles and international companies.

Key Services: 

Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) Attraction Services - Assist international companies seeking to locate or expand their business operations in the Los Angeles region.

Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz)

GO-Biz serves as the State of California’s leader for job growth, economic development and business assistance efforts. GO-Biz offers no cost consultation for incentive identification, site selection, regulatory or permitting compliance assistance, foreign direct investment and export assistance.

Regional Marketplace Alliance for Procurement (RAMP)

RAMP is a portal that centralizes both public and private procurement opportunities in order to address procurement reform and equitable access to contracting opportunities. The City of Los Angeles spends approximately $4.5 Billion procuring goods and services every year.

ZIMAS

The Zone Information and Map Access System (ZIMAS) is a web-based mapping tool that provides zoning information for properties located in Los Angeles. ZIMAS was developed by City Planning to assist residents and businesses in making better informed land use decisions.

Los Angeles City Planning

If your investment includes development within the City of L.A., there are resources available to streamline your project. In partnership with the Department of Building and Safety, City Planning offers Development Services Case Management (DSCM) the main portal for consultation, assistance, and troubleshooting for complex development projects requiring interdepartmental approvals.
