  • The Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM) is America’s official export credit agency. EXIM is an independent U.S. Government agency that supports American jobs by facilitating the export of U.S. goods and services. EXIM assists exporters of “Made in the USA” products in being competitive in the global marketplace by enabling them to sell to foreign buyers on open account credit terms and protecting them against nonpayment. EXIM also facilitates pre-export working capital financing for exporters and financing of one- to five-year terms for foreign buyers purchasing U.S.-made capital equipment. In providing these services, the agency levels the playing field for American-made products competing against foreign goods in overseas markets so that American companies can win international opportunities and create more good-paying U.S. jobs.
