The City of Los Angeles Creative Artist Exemption exempts artists and businesses working in the entertainment industry that earn less than $300,000 a year from city business taxes. In order to qualify for any business tax exemptions, the business will need to register and file their tax returns with the City of Los Angeles' Office of Finance before the annual deadline.
